This notice explains what personal information L-D Autos collects, why we collect it, and what your rights are.
Who we are
L-D Automotive Solutions Ltd (trading as L-D Autos), Company No. 17547932, 302 London Road, Stretton-on-Dunsmore, Rugby CV23 9HX. We are the controller of your personal information. For any privacy question, email andy@ldautos.co.uk or call 07525 424 740.
What we collect
- Your name, phone number and email address.
- Details of your vehicle, such as make, model and registration.
- What you tell us about the work you need, and any photos you send us.
- If you become a customer: the work carried out, quotes, invoices and payment records.
Why we use it
- To reply to your enquiry and give you a quote. This is a step you've asked us to take before entering into a contract with us.
- To carry out the work and contact you about it. This is needed to perform our contract with you.
- To keep business and tax records. We are legally required to keep these.
We will not send you marketing messages unless you ask us to, and we never sell your information.
Who we share it with
We only share your information where we need to:
- FormSubmit, the service that delivers messages from our contact form to our email inbox.
- Our email provider, which stores our emails.
- Our accountant and HMRC, for tax and accounting purposes.
- Anyone we are legally required to share it with.
How long we keep it
- Enquiries that don't lead to work: deleted within 12 months.
- Customer and job records: kept for 6 years after the end of the financial year the work was done in, as required for company and tax records, then deleted.
How we keep it safe
Your information is kept in a password-protected email account and on devices protected by passwords and two-step sign-in. Only L-D Autos can access it.
Your rights
You have the right to:
- ask for a copy of the information we hold about you;
- ask us to correct anything that's wrong;
- ask us to delete your information, unless we have to keep it by law;
- object to or ask us to limit how we use it.
